Pip Blom - Paycheck EP - 10"

Amsterdam’s Pip Blom has shared new single ‘Pussycat’, the first track to be taken from her upcoming new EP, titled Paycheck, released phsyically on 9th November on Nice Swan Records.

Opening with a collision of guitar from both Pip and brother/bandmate Tender, ‘Pussycat’ is a roaring, attitude-laden offering, and something of a cockier, older sibling to previous single ‘Pussycat’ (which recently A-listed at BBC 6 Music).

Topping up on a busy 2017, which saw a series of hooky singles Pip had previously simply uploaded to the internet hit over a million plays – bringing a sudden burst of overseas exposure with it - Pip’s numerous festival appearances and energetic, gripping live shows around the UK and Europe have solidified her as one of 2018’s rising guitar acts.
